On October 9th, twenty-two years ago, Tekarra got married at a little spot in southern Alberta.

That same afternoon, at that same spot, so did Keshia.

Neither of us knew the other existed. We wouldn't meet for years.

When we finally did, we became friends, & somewhere down the line we worked out that our anniversaries were the exact same date. (We both said the same word out loud. It was not a polite word.)

Then we started a bedding company together out of Raymond, Alberta, which is not a thing either of us saw coming at twenty-two years old.

So we've always celebrated the two anniversaries together, & we've always celebrated them here, with you. This year we both hit 22.
